Yes, we provide photos of the items which are needing attention for all of our Geelong building inspections. Should you have a specific concern they too, will be included.
Property inspections can usually be carried out within 48 to 72 hours of your request/order. It is important to note this is dependent on access arrangements with the real estate agent, tenants or vendor.
In most cases you will have the report on the same day.
Yes. As outlined in our Terms and Conditions the report belongs to Building Inspections Geelong. As such you can purchase the copy of the report at a discounted rate, and our Professional Indemnity Insurance covers our copy of the report.
Yes, we offer a discount for second and subsequent pre-auction inspections.
Yes. We will always follow up with a phone call to discuss the report in depth and can offer advice regarding defects and repairs.
Your report does not include advice regarding building regulation compliance, title, zoning or ownership matters.
We are not able to technically assess services at the property such as air conditioning, alarms; utility services like electrics, plumbing and gas. Visible defects will be reported.
Yes, if we possibly can. We will always point you in the right direction in taking the next step to resolve the issue.
Yes, the report belongs to you and can be used to instigate mediation.
